Megarian cup

Asia Minor, latter half of 2nd/first half of 1st century BCE

Site: Panticapaeum (Kerch)

Grey-beige ceramic clay. Greyish-brown matte-gloss surface. Megarian (relief) cup with a slightly inverted edge and miniature round foot. On the outside of the cup, four rows of scales with accentuated edges and diagonal drops are surmounted by a horizontal band of two strips of relief beading.
